Radio SARANG is busy. With the help of its listening communities, it is getting programs ready in Kannada, Konkani, Tulu, Malayalam, and English - to spread the message of harmony and appreciation among its listeners.
Come 31 Aug and 1 September - and you will be treated to a feast of spiritual, cultural festival. Radio SARANG believes, after all, each celebration of this type has something special to contribute to the community and to each one of us.

Community Radio SARANG 107.8FM - The only 24x7 Radio
8 July 2011. Radio SARANG 107.8FM's 24 hour broadcast a day has been appreciated by the community! They seem to enjoy - at least one radio to keep them during the sleeping hours!
Languages of broadcast:
Since 01 June 2011, Radio started broadcasting 18 hours a day. But with 15 June it's round the clock broadcast - on an experimental basis! It's a rare feat in the history of Community Radios in India! Celebrating colours of life... Now it's regular: round the clock - 24 hours a day broadcast!
Serving local communities along the Mangalore coastal line and around
Kannada, Konkani, Tulu, English - regular languages
Beary, Malayalam, Hindi - Weekly
Punjabi - monthly

SARANG 107.8 is run by St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore, a coastal town in the southern part of Karnataka. SARANG 107.8 FM means ‘all colours’ of Mangalore signifying various social, religious, linguistic communities and their harmonious existence.
